
A Coptic cross carved in a coloumn in the Ptolomaic temple of Philae. The cross is carved on top of a God with his hands up, as if it's carrying the cross. Copts used Pharaonic temples to hide from Roman oppression between the 2nd and 7th century AD. The Romans commited many massacres against Copts.
